Shutting Down Gaza΄s Electric Power, a Human Crime

Hamas' spokesperson, Fawzi Barhoum, stated that shutting down the only electricity source in the Gaza Strip by the European Union is a human crime with its entire means, clarifying that the victims of this crime will be the children, elders and ill people.

Barhoum added that this act means paralyzing the lives of a million Palestinian, and by that lead the Gaza Strip to a sanitarian, environmental, human crisis.

The spokesperson further stressed on that this decision is illegal and unethical, and that the European Union should reconsider the situation and support Gaza's electricity source.

In other points of views, the Muslim members of parliament in the West Bank condemned the shutting down the electricity off Gaza, stating that this is part of the cruel siege, and collective punishment lived by the Gazans for years now.
