Hizbullah Supports Public High School Teachers΄ Protests

Hizullah's Educational Mobilization Sector supports the protests by teachers from public high schools across the country, said Hizbullah in a statement issued on Tuesday.

This comes after several reports that teachers from Lebanon's public high schools will go on strike on Wednesday and Thursday.

The teachers will also allegedly demonstrate before the Ministry of Education on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with requests pertaining to their salary.

Hizbullah said their requests should be fulfilled, adding that teachers' posts should be socially ensured and not based on contracts.
