Enemy Troops Cross Border, Infiltrate 70 meters deep into Lebanese Lands
In an intimidating step, Zionist occupation forces crossed the Lebanese borders in complete disregard to UNSCR 1701 on Saturday April 10th.
The incident occurred as some 11 occupation troops crossed the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine at the Wazzani area and advanced towards the Wazzani Tourist Fortress.
Lebanese sources revealed that the soldiers entered the fortress, taking images of the tourist site which is still under construction. The soldiers also seized the control panel of a small bulldozer parked in the site. The soldiers held their presence till around 9a.m. when construction workers arrived at the site.
The United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon had delivered a message two days earlier from the "Israeli" occupation forces in which it warned the workers of the tourist site of consequences if the latter continued to work there.
The site workers replaced the missing panel on Saturday and resumed work.
The Lebanese Army Commander of the Eastern Sector inspected the area and the tracks left behind by the occupation soldiers.
