“Israel” Fears Third Lebanon War with Hizbullah

Military Affairs commentator in "Israeli" daily Haaretz, Amos Harel, said that the issues in the northern arena remains Hizbullah's plan to avenge the 2008 assassination of its senior military official Imad Moghnieh, who was assassinated in Damascus in 2008.
Harel said that the organization is also building up its stock of advanced Syrian and Iranian weaponry.
The commentator added that "according to "Israeli" estimation" Hizbullah arsenal is likely to contain tens of thousands of rockets capable of reaching nearly any target in "Israel".
He also said that since the 2006 Lebanon war, there has been a dramatic improvement in Hizbullah's "Curved-Path Rocket System", whether in its range, strength and damage it can cause, and most important its precision.
Amos added that the main issue "Israel" is concerned about is how to confront and prevent weapon smuggling.
" "Israel" is closely following the weapon smuggling, and continues to issue warnings, however, Netanyahu's government will find it hard to justify to the international community and even to the public at home a military move to keep the enemies from rearming, which could trigger a Third Lebanon War." He said.
