The Lebanese security services are scoring additional success in tracking down the "Israeli" espionage networks, as the LAF Intelligence managed to arrest four new agents in different regions of North Lebanon.

The detained were taken to the Defense Ministry in Yarzeh, where they were questioned under the supervision of Military Judiciary.

According to As-Safir newspaper, Lebanese Army intelligence arrested during the past hours (Y.A.) in Jabal Mehsen in Tripoli, born in Masoudiyeh in Akkar, and is 26 years old. According to the daily, the arrested visited Beirut on daily basis allegedly to sell soap and perfumery which he buys from the North.

The claimer, according to the newspaper, took this step after communicating and coordinating with the "Israeli" embassy in Turkey, in addition to communicating through "Facebook" with a Lebanese woman residing in the Palestinian occupied territories, who had fled Lebanon post the "Israeli" withdrawal in 2000.

According to LAF the claimer possessed more than one computer device and a large number of Compact Disks.

The Army Intelligence also arrested (J.N.) in Shikka village in the North, as he was communicating with the "Israeli" enemy. In addition, it also arrested (M.A.), 55 years old, who was charged of communicating with the enemy as well. (M.A.) is from Tripoli and resides in one of the compounds in Dahr Al Ain village-Koura District, and is "one of the major agents in espionage for the Zionist enemy."

As for the fourth agent with the initials (M.A.) as well of the Bebnin village in Akkar, he is the son of an x-captive who was imprisoned in "Israeli" prisons for smuggling weapons to the Palestinian resistance factions, and was set free in one of the swap operations that took place between Hizbullah and the Zionist enemy.

As-Safir also mentioned that the Army Intelligence is questioning the four arrested agents who -according to primary investigations- do not form one espionage ring and work separately.
