Aoun: UN Should Let Lebanon Be

Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun said on Tuesday during his visit to Spain that UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon should let Lebanon manage its own affairs with Syria.
"Ban interferes in Lebanese affairs to divert attention away from the attacks that take place in the states neighboring "Israel"," Aoun told OTV.
He urged the "UN chief to change his way of dealing with Lebanon, because this (such conduct) could not be used to pressure us anymore."
Aoun also addressed "Israel's" recent accusations that Syria provided Hizbullah with Scud missiles, saying that "Israel" is promoting for a new war and intends to harm the Lebanese domestic situation by making such statements.
"The Resistance remains the safest option for peace", he added.
