Hizbullah Slams UN Envoy Implementation of 1559 Resolution

Hizbullah issued a statement in which it slammed the UN Envoy for the implementation of Security Council resolution 1559 Terje Roed-Larsen's latest report: 

The UN envoy Terje Roed-Larsen refuses but to make his remarks every time the region is in a critical stage, due to Zionist threats and western slanders against the Lebanese people and their resistance.

Larsen's continuous attempts to interfere in Lebanese affairs and incite the Lebanese to fight one another are unacceptable for an international official, working for peace in the region and strengthening the Lebanese's sovereignty on their land. They are nothing but actions of latent hatred and a total bias pro-Zionist agenda, which Larsen's regular statements are part of.

Hizbullah condemns this attempt to create dissent and strife among the Lebanese under the guise of advice and guidance, calling upon Lebanese authorities to consider suitable actions in facing crude interventions in the Lebanese administration's affairs.

Regarding Larsen considering the weapons of the resistance in the context of the international resolution mentioned, he responds to his own words when he considers that it is a Lebanese issue, which would be solved by negotiations between Lebanese, through suggesting the overall defense strategy. Larsen or other international officials then are not allowed to interfere in this issue.
