Commenting on the decision by the French authorities to stop broadcasting Al Aqsa TV, Hizbullah issued the following statement:

Hizbullah strongly denounces the decision taken by the French authorities to stop broadcasting Al-Aqsa satellite channel, and considers this decision unfair and contrary to the principles of freedom and justice the French Republic claims to uphold. This decision is totally incompatible with the freedom of expression, clearly revealing the double standard policy adopted by France. While France shows impatience with a media voice that reflects the suffering of millions of besieged Palestinians in the occupied territories and displaced persons in the Diaspora, it opens the doors wide to dozens of Zionist media trumpets that promote "Israeli" occupation, work on altering the facts concerning the crime against the Freedom Flotilla Fleet, switching the murderers to a side acting in self-defence, and the innocent victims into executioners.

While we call upon the French authorities to take back this wrong decision, we express our full solidarity with our colleagues in the Al Aqsa TV and stand on their side.
