Hizbullah Issues Statement on Patriarch Sfeir’s expression "so-called Party of God"

We would like to draw Patriarch Sfeir's attention to his use of the term "so-called Party of God (Hizbullah)", which comprises a kind of denial, abuse and disregard, something we do not want to believe His Holiness intended. Otherwise, would His Holiness or those fond of him accept referring to him as the 'so-called Patriarch.'

We may differ politically, but it remains our concern to respect ranks, standing or positions of others, to whom respecting others ought to be a priority, given their religious and moral standing.
