Eyeballs see and witness the crimes and atrocities of the "Israeli" occupier in Gaza and the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT) and come back with testimonies that have been foiling all Zionist media campaigns to seal the true image of its aggressions and violations, bringing more awareness among the peoples of the world.

Four visits to the Gaza Strip opened the British activist's sight to the diabolic atrocities of the usurper that has left no means unexploited to gulp in more land and satiate its greed.

British activist and Viva Palestina organizer Kevin Ovenden- currently spending much time this year in the Middle East region; a lot of it in Lebanon, told moqawama.org about what he called the "devilish Israeli" theory of "HIDDEN BIOLOGICAL WARFARE" implemented against the Palestinians.

The use of Mass Destruction Weapons such as White Phosphorus and Uranium was the talk of the town; particularly post the 2008-2009 aggression on the Gaza Strip. But very little was mentioned about the carcinogen Hexavalent Chromium, or Chromium IV, which according to reports, has been abundantly found in the Gaza water.

Chromium IV was found to be a carcinogen via inhalation in many studies, such as that conducted by the Toxicology Program -Part of the US National Institutes for Health.

According to the British activist, people need to understand these carcinogens in a broader sense. These toxics, which are illegal under international law, are a form of biological warfare. In brief, Kevin told moqawama.org, that he, like many other activists and scientists are following up with the topic. He added that masses of this toxic substance has been found in the Gaza water, which according to scientists come from the destruction of infrastructure and chemical reactions with other substances, including MDW residues.

Kevin reiterated this carcinogen should be recognized internationally as a banned warfare, just like it is in the Geneva Convention. In this context, moqawama.org will be conducting an inclusive interview on the Chromium IV, who will further explain the dangers and effects of this substance.

On a similar note, Kevin narrated his visit to the Shifa hospital; to the Kidney unit in particular, highlighting that this experience crystallized another form of biological warfare behind the siege, which is not only designed to prevent certain "items and goods" from entering the Strip as "Israel" claims.

"In one incident, we visited the kidney unit in the Shifa hospital. They have 12 kidney dialysis machines, but due to the siege the hospital cannot get any spare parts for the machines. The siege also means the hospital cannot get the specialist testing kits to test the patients for the presence of hepatitis virus. Since the machines are divided into hepatitis contaminated and clean machines, the doctors must know first if the patients are infected," said Kevin, adding "And so the doctors have to take a guess whether the patients have the virus. Of course if the doctors guess wrong, then they either put a healthy patient on a contaminated machine or contaminate a clean machine because the patient is a hepatitis patient."

Kevin's words drew a scene of a sick "Pull the Trigger" game, by that putting the doctors through a human dilemma not knowing whether they are going to cure or kill a patient.

"Even though it is one example, significantly in the medical field," Kevin continued "still it embodies the suffering of the Gazans and the supposedly banned warfare which kills hundreds of innocent people." He underscored that the Gazans are a portion of the entire Palestinian population suffering occupation and its violence.

On the level of aid delivery, Kevin said that the "Israeli" policy is calculated in such a way that the Palestinian population on the minimum level of survival.
That, according to the activist, was documented in an "Israeli" academic report three months ago.

"What "Israel" does is it monitors the amount of aid entering into the Gaza strip and then restricts the flow of this aid. Consequently, the more aid sent to the Gaza Strip, the less "Israel" allows of it into the enclave," Kevin explained.

Despite the harsh image, Kevin said he was struck with two contrasting features during his visits: Atrocities versus willpower... respectively, the "Israeli" occupying entity versus the resisting Palestinians.

"There were two contrasting features that struck me in the Gaza Strip, the determination of the Gazan people is very high, their steadfast and confidence is even higher than during and post the war," Kevin said. "Even though they are suffering a choking siege "Israel" has been imposing, the Gazans still are resistant and have managed to survive through the underground life lines and the aid sent to them. This proves their strong determination and willpower," he added.

The Viva Palestina organizer told moqawama.org that this year is to witness concentrated activities; all dedicated to break the siege and support the Palestinian people. The activist, who was very furious to what he saw in the Strip, was also enthusiastic to this year's implementation of activities for Gaza.

Concerning the plan of activities that will be declared next week in a conference in Beirut, Kevin told moqawama.org these include "a 12 month program on initiatives to break the siege and politically challenge it, and also to raise wider questions about Palestine because of course Gaza is only one part of Palestine, as there are more sufferings in the West bank and Al Quds."

Also, the activist added there will be "an enormous international mission to take place around the anniversary of the Mavi Marmara attack to support Gaza, of which Viva Palestina will be a major partner."

Moreover, a Campaign will be launched to "highlight the ethnic cleansing of Al Quds, the latest atrocity of which is the demolition of the Shepherd hotel in the Sheikh Jarrah area."

The organization, according to Kevin, will also begin a first attempt of trade with the Gaza Strip, in an attempt to boost the economy of the coastal enclave and complete the process of establishing details of cooperation and coordination with very important liberation organizations in the region.

Palestinian political detainees will have a share of the annual agenda. As Kevin explained to moqawama.org, there will be steps to push very high on the international agenda on the issue of Palestinian political detainees, particularly Marwan Al Barghouti.

The plan includes other yearly activities among which are the international summer university campaign to teach about the history of Palestine and the right of return, launching a major website to coordinate campaigns and initiatives on Palestine.
