"Small Wailing Wall" is another name of the settlement scheme which has been launched in the surrounding area of Al Aqsa Mosque, precisely in the Western part.
For what it has of religious Biblical significance, the new northern Wailing Wall was opened as a holy site for prayers, the same as what happened with the Buraq wall, which was occupied by the "Israelis", claiming it as an important religious site.

This place is nothing but part of Al Aqsa holy mosque, called Ribat Al Kurd, located northern Bab Al Hadid (Iron Gate), which is one of the most important gates of Al Aqsa Mosque.
Gradual Judaizing
Dr. Jamal Omar, expert in the field of archeology, said that what is happening is a gradual Judaizing of the place, for tens of year ago; the occupation took over the Ribat Al Kurd, and turned a part of it to a Jewish shrine under the name of the "small wailing wall".
"In the following years, broad diggings were held in the lower part of the site, which led to the collapse in some Palestinian homes, in an area known for "Hosh Al Shahabi"", Jamal Omar said.
Dr. Omar added that due to that, the endowments and the people of the area installed a series of iron supporters to prevent the collapse of other buildings.
The archeology expert referred to the importance of that location, saying it is located directly next to Bab Al Hadid (Iron Gate), on the western part, not far from the Buraq Wall to the north.
Jamal Omar said that the Zionist occupation worked for years on seizing control of this area and Judaizing it, where couple of years ago, the "Israelis" declared they occupied a house in that area, after which they turned it into a Jewish synagogue.
Now, for the first time, they seized control of this historical part of the western wall, which is considered an important part of Al Aqsa mosque, according to Dr. Omar.
Omar considered that naming the wall, the "Small Wailing Wall", confirms that they ["Israelis"] have total control on the Buraq Wall, which they refer to as "The Wailing Wall".
The Palestinian archeology expert added that the "Israelis" named their alleged wall, the "Small Wailing Wall", because they consider it as an annexe to their big Western Wailing Wall, and part of it.
Surrounding Al Aqsa Mosque
Furthermore, Dr. Jamal Omar goes on saying, "From here we can see that the Zionist view is clear concerning Judaizing Al Quds (Jerusalem), where their schemes are surrounding Al Aqsa from all places. From the Eastern part, they have seized control part of Al Rahma cemetery, not allowing any burials to take place in it, and then obliterated it. They also took over the whole of the southern part, the "Umayyad Castles", and now the western part of the Buraq Wall, including the small wall".
Regarding whether this "Small Wailing Wall" is related to any Biblical version, as the Zionists claim, Jamal Omar said that this is a theological invention, which is nothing near the truth.
He added that they are but delusions through which the "Israelis" try to take over as much as they can of the holy site, but there is no evidence what so ever in the Bible (Torah) for such a place.
Jamal Omar said that Jewish archeologists themselves confessed that after more than five decades of digging and excavation, there is no relation between this place and the claimed temple or the Jewish doctrine.
Dr. Omar went on saying that changes occurring are Judaizing schemes practiced by Jewish Settlement Organizations, pointing out that these organizations have been receiving support from the enemy government and municipality to implement its schemes.
On this level, Dr. Omar said that these measures done by the "Israelis" are strictly systematic political and occupational schemes, in order to take over the surroundings of the holy Al Aqsa Mosque and Judaize it.
Erasing Islamic Landmarks
On his part, Head of the Al Quds (Jerusalem) section in the Palestinian Authority Ahmad Al Rawidi, considered that these schemes comes in the context of replacing the Islamic civilization in Al Quds (Jerusalem) with the Jewish one, in order to create a Jewish Biblical atmosphere in the city, precisely in the old city.
Al Rawidi said, "The occupation aims at demolishing the old city so they could build a Jewish city and wipe out the Islamic civilization. Therefore we witness integrated schemes to Judaize the surrounding of the holy Al Aqsa Mosque, for what it represents of the supreme Islamic landmarks in the city".
Ahmad Al Rawidi referred that the Palestinians are witnessing archeological diggings and schemes, synagogue construction everywhere surrounding Al Aqsa Mosque, from the old town through Silwan, the southern front part of the holy Mosque, reaching Al Tour Mountain.
The PA official said this comes in order to surround the area and impose on it an artificial Jewish Biblical heritage.
According to Al Rawidi, this is related to schemes that aim at creating a demographic atmosphere, where most are Jews, through evicting Palestinians out of their homes, taking away their Al Quds (Jerusalem) identity.
In this context, Rawidi added that these schemes aim at stopping all family reunions and building a separation wall, which will lead to the eviction of more than 200 thousand Palestinians out of the holy city.
