Bullets in the heads, chests, thighs and legs, tear gas in the lungs and tears down the cheeks, some lie in pain and others rest in peace, others still on borderlines fearless of the scene of coward "Israeli" soldiers hiding behind ambushes and shrubs.

Thousands were there along the borders to commemorate the Nakba of Palestine at Maroun Al Raas, and at the boders with the Golan Heights too. Also thousands commemorating that same Nakba day, inhaling the same tear gas, tasting the pain of "Israeli" bullets but from within the land of Palestine.

The scene becomes more serious. "Israeli" soldiers come closer, their fingers on the trigger, bullets fired from the muzzles of their arms, Ahmad, Omar and others anxiously looking at their occupied homeland, and a bullet coming their way, with a velocity way faster than they can escape or avoid. And so falls Ahmad, Omar and others, their hearts stop pounding and they depart life, but their souls eternally to remain above the land of Palestine.

Walid was bleeding badly, but he was still calling, Palestine, Palestine, I will come back Palestine. Raya crying her eyes out over the loss of a brother, Omar died for you, and I will die for you Palestine, we are coming back, and we are coming back to Palestine.

The "Israeli" army barbaric soldiers were still firing at protesters who shoved a few stones a few meters away before them. And how can a stone hurt as does the bullet, and how can throwing stones be called a violent act of rioters who are in fact civilians who were expelled 6 decades ago, from their homeland, the land of Palestine?!

These Palestinian hands, bodies, souls... relentless, restless, and longing to cut the barbed wires, to jump above the fence, and step foot on the homeland were prey to "Israeli" barbarism, nothing surprising, for the people of Palestine.
The unprecedented marches that took place on the 15th of May whether inside the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Syria or Lebanon witnessed "Israeli" violence and arrogance, and THAT is a precedent to "Israeli" behavior.

According to sources, in the Gaza Strip, one Palestinian was martyred and 160 were wounded when the "Israeli" occupation army opened fire on rallies commemorating the 63rd anniversary of the Nakba Day. Palestinian sources also said that dozens of Palestinians were injured by "Israeli" artillery fire that targeted areas near Beit Hanoun crossing point north of Gaza Strip and near Kalandia crossing point in occupied Al Quds (Jerusalem).

In the West Bank, more than 80 Palestinians were inured near Kalandia crossing point in occupied Al Quds (Jerusalem) by the "Israeli" occupation army's gunfire.
In Syria, two citizens were martyred and 170 others wounded in the "Israeli" occupation forces attacks on citizens in Ein Al Tineh in Quneitra province and Majdal Shams in the Occupied Syrian Golan.

In Lebanon, the army stated that despite its strict precautions, the "Israeli" occupation forces opened fire on the gathering in Maroun Al Ras area, martyring 10 and wounding 112, some of which are in critical condition.

A first reaction of the international community to what happened: Silence, silence and more silence.

The United Nations had its say on Monday. U.N. special coordinator for Lebanon Michael Williams said "Israel" used disproportionate, deadly force when its soldiers fired on demonstrators marching toward the country's borders. Well said! But wait, isn't that the same exact phrase the world heard on other acts of "Israel" of which it was exempted from later?

The 30th of May 2010 was a witness to one of those incidents, when "Israeli" naval forces raided the Mavi Marmamra ship which was part of the aid flotilla to the besieged Gaza Strip. The United Nations at the time issued its report saying "Israel" broke international law, including "international human rights law," and described "Israel's" raid on the aid flotilla "disproportionate" and "betrayed unacceptable level of brutality."

So what difference did that make? Absolutely nothing... "Israel" held responsible for its actions, and then sooner or later exempted from these action of mere barbarism. "Israel" persists to commit its crimes, but the Palestinians will continue to resist until the right to return is fulfilled.

If Palestinians came together and each one of them threw a bucket of water over "Israel" would be washed away. And if the Palestinians and their leaderships unite together, the foreign hands of intervention would disunite and their puppet "Israel" would fade away. Then only, when the people unite, "Israel" will become frailer and be swept away, while the people would return to their homes, land, and sanctities in the land of Palestine.

Then and only then, no more hoax-reports on "disproportionate Israeli actions" would be issued amid international silence and no more will Omar, Walid and their brethrens be deprived of their right to live with dignity, on their land, the land of Palestine.

The world powers. . .

The world powers do not want to see Israel held responsible for their actions. This is the reason Israel is able to get away with acts of terrorism, along with a long list on injustices against the Palestinians and neighboring Arab countries. Always expect the worse when dealing with a nation like Israel. They are the most undisciplined nation and have the most radical army force. Since its existence, intellectuals in Israel and around the world have pushed the notion that there was no Palestine. This is not true. There was a Palestine...read the book "The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine," by Ilan Pape. This book explains Plan Dalet and the measures the Zionists took to expel and eradicate the Palestinian population. This article demonstrations the will of the Palestinian and Lebanese people, as well as Israel's aggressive nature. It must have been scary to see these events unfold-to see people get shot and even killed. I hope that you continue to remain brave and work hard in all that you do. Your writings are inspiring and really bring the truth to surface. May God grant you much success!! Keep up the wonderful work. :)

Perseverance

May Allah be with our Arab brethren in the occupied territories and give them patience and perseverance. Soon will come the day of our awaited saviour (AATFS) and all injustice will be unveiled.
