Information still leaks about the secret meeting between the Prime Minister of Qatar Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, and the "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the Elysee Palace. Al Intiqad website has succeeded in gathering the latest information about the secret discussions at the meeting from reliable sources in Paris: "Hamad bin Jassim explained to Netanyahu that the Iranian situation is so difficult, especially after the Saudi military intervention in Bahrain." Bin Jasim claimed: "Tehran finds itself now on the defensive side after being in the attacking font with the war in Yemen and the events in Lebanon and Gaza." The Qatari PM requested from his Zionist counterpart that "Israel" remains out of the picture so that Syria won't exploit any position from Tel Aviv to distract attention from domestic protests there. Bin Jassim assured Netanyahu that the fall of the Syrian regime will not change the situation in the Golan (Heights) and that there is a promise from the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria, to both Qatar and Turkey, that they won't open the Golan front.

The sources added that Netanyahu spoke of modifying the UNIFIL mission in Southern Lebanon so that it can rein in Hizbullah if the latter tries to open a southern front by an attempt of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah to help Bashar Al Assad. On his side, the Qatari PM insisted on the importance of the continuation of the demonstrations in Syria. "We are seeking through "Al Jazeera" to expand the movement to reach Damascus.

Together, the French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Hamad bin Jassim reassured "Israel" that the Arab Spring would not be against its interests, but that it must without delay accept the idea of establishing a Palestinian state."
The weekly press newspaper "Le Canard Enchaine ", close to the French intelligence circles, reported in its issue of the day that the tenth of this month witnessed a meeting held at the Elysee Palace between both the Prime Minister of Qatar, Sheik Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the presence of the President the French Republic, Nicolas Sarkozy, without giving details.

The substance of the meeting has started to be leaked out among journalists in Paris confirms (the meeting happened). This is not the first time that Hamad bin Jassim meets "Israeli" officials, as he does not usually deny such meetings.

Nowadays, Qatar plays a pivotal role in the Western relations and its interventions in more than one Arab country, especially in Libya, which Doha is involved in the militarily air war led by NATO against the regime of Muammar Gaddafi. Moreover, Al Jazeera is playing an inflammatory incitement role in events taking place in Syria since two months which has led to strong Syrian reactions against Qatar that fears Syrian revenge after the regime in Damascus proved its power and after the crisis is approaching a solution in benefit of the regime.

Meanwhile, the Qataris informed their new ally Nicolas Sarkozy of their fears of both the rise of Saudi influence in the Gulf countries and the sharp position taken by the Syrian leadership against the rulers of Qatar.
It is known that Qatar has a severe allergy to Saudi Arabia which considers Qatar part of its territory because of the tribal and sectarian interrelation between the two countries, where the majority of the people of Qatar follow the Wahhabi school followed in Saudi Arabia.
