Khansa: Bahrain, UK to the ICC…Shocking Evidences and New Witnesses

Bahrain - the name meaning "two seas" - was once viewed by the ancient Sumerians as an island paradise to which the wise and the brave were taken to enjoy eternal life. However, the permanent rulers of this calm island turned it to a symbol of torture, blood, and death.
After tens of martyrs were killed in sake of freedom and humanitarian rights and hundreds of prisoners were tortured to death, the oppressors' names are to be submitted to the International Community Court. Shocking evidences are to be delivered and the UK partners in the crime are to face the International law.
The International legal and judicial Organization specialized in tracking all war crimes as well as all perpetrators of crimes against humanity and according to the international law, the International Coalition against Impunity, is about to file a case against Bahraini government and UK military for their collusion in the brutal crackdown on Bahraini protesters.
In an exclusive interview with moqawama.org, the Chief Representative of Beirut-based International Coalition against Impunity May al-Khansa said that "this is the third Bahraini case that we propose to the International community court especially with the great media black out to what is happening there and the inability to propose what is happening to the International law community unless through putting cases and documents that prove the criminality and brutality of the Bahraini regime."
Shocking Evidences:
Accompanied by ten foreign lawyers, al- Khansa is to present new shocking evidences that the ICC cannot neglect "there are new witnesses who were afraid to appear in media because of the authorities chase and arrests. These many witnesses are to shock the mass community."
"Alive witnesses who were tortured and raped in the Bahraini prisons with no charges presented tens of pictures, documents, videos, names, numbers, and facts to the ICC." al- Khansa stressed clarifying that "parents of victims who were killed after being severely tortured are to present outrageous evidences and witnesses that prove their children didn't die but after being harshly tortured and these can be seen in videos taken to the martyrs in the prisons".
UK's Military to the Court:
Another strong point in the file is that the complaint will also point the finger of blame at the United Kingdom's military for training Bahraini troops to crush opposition protests "this time will be totally different and quietly shocking since we are planning to put a case against a number United Kingdom's military men for training Bahraini troops to crush, arrest and torture the opposition civilian protests. We have evidences against the military force of the United Kingdom. We accuse them in this new case", al-Khansa noted.
It is known that unlike Bahrain, UK is among the countries that signed Rome's legal System which makes the case more applicable to the law. "The ICC is now obliged to take new decisions regarding the UK's military interference in the crime." al-Khansa clarified.
Accusing the ruling Bahraini family and the White Hall of committing "crimes against humanity, genocide, aggression, war crimes and use of restricted weapons," al-Khansa told our website that "we have correct information and the court has the power. Hence, court faces no obstacles in taking a decision. Prosecuting the Britain military men, the court must prosecute their Bahraini partners although this state isn't under Rome's system."
Bahraini Courts against Int'l Laws:
In a parallel context, al-Khansa commented on the Bahraini courts' decisions on sending protesters to death by saying "against all international laws and norms the Bahraini courts aren't respecting the sacred right. The prisoners aren't given the right to defense. A mother of one of the prisoners who is sentenced to death said that within four days he is to face an appeal and the final decision of execution.
Meanwhile, Manama regime is to put nearly 400 people on trial over their alleged roles in peaceful anti-regime protests.
"This is impossible to happen in any country that has a sense of democracy. How could the little courts with their few judges of this small gulf country take such speedy decisions to this huge number of accused prisoners?" al-Khansa asked.
Double Standards:
Astonished to the absence of international conscience, al-Khansa called all the Arab and International authorities to interfere because what is happening in Bahrain is no more bearable. "Although civil and humanitarian organizations are working to prevent the Bahraini regime's crimes, the governments are clearly biased; they are symbols of double standards. I heard the French President Nicolas Sarkozy and the UK PM David Cameron warning Syria and saying that silence is against humanitarian conscience, where is this same conscience when dealing with the crimes in Bahrain". al-Khansa concluded.
