Hizbullah Denies Allegations on Taking Part in Syrian Protests

Commenting on the accusations made by some Syrian opposition members that Hizbullah is taking part in oppressing the protests in Syria, Hizbullah issued the following statement:

Hizbullah vehemently denies accusations by some Syrian opposition members that it is helping to put down the protests in Syria and asserts that these allegations are untrue. Hizbullah views such repetitive lies as an attempt to sow strife to serve hegemony powers policies.

Hizbullah considers the allegations were politically motivated and aimed at paving the way for the West to meddle in Syria's internal politics. Hizbullah is against such interference and favour reform and stability that would enable the Syrian people to prosper and move forward.
