Izzeddine to al-Intiqad: Cairo Conference…A Clear Message to “Israel”, US

Izzeddine: Holding "the Cairo Conference in Solidarity with the Arab Revolutions and Support for Resistance Choice" Is a Clear Message to the Zionist Entity and American Administration.

Hizbullah Arab Relations Official, Sheikh Hassan Izzeddine iterates that "the Cairo Conference in Solidarity with the Arab Revolutions and Support for Resistance Choice", held lately (in Egypt) is of importance and significance; whereby holding it in Cairo confirms Egypt's embracement and support for the resistance choice.
Likewise, the Conference is a message to the Zionist Entity and the American Administration, conveying that none can obstruct the return of the relations of brotherhood, friendship, communication, and mutual benefit among the meeting countries.

In an interview with al-Intiqad Website, Izzeddine said that the visit of Hizbullah's delegation to Al-Azhar Sheikh, Dr. Ahmad At-Tayyeb lies in the context of transmitting a message of thankfulness for his latest stances in the name of Hizbullah Secretary General, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

On the other hand, Izzeddine considers that trialing the ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak leaves positive effects on the Arab and Egyptian levels and is a moral for every person that seeks to control his/her people's destiny.

Regarding the Lebanese situation, Izzeddine pointed out that "ratifying both laws of oil and maritime-borders defining has proved that the government and the Parliament are controlled by a serious and responsible will which adheres to people's rights, for the government and the Parliament consider that the oil fortune is absolutely neither a private possession nor a property of a certain party or category of people; instead, it belongs to the whole (Lebanese) people." Izzeddine reiterated that "Hizbullah is going to acknowledge the borders defined by the Lebanese government; then, these borders shall become an indispensable part of Lebanon's sovereignty and independence. Hence, the Resistance shall be in charge of defending the borders and investing these resources absolutely freely."

Hizbullah official emphasized that the team demanding that Hizbullah be disarmed is today an outsider with respect to the free and independent choice of Lebanon and the Lebanese interests; thus, this team is now tied with American and "Israeli" schemes.

Here below is the dialogue "al-Intiqad Website" has had with Hizbullah Arab Relations Official, Sheikh Hassan Izzeddine:

*How was the meeting with al-Azhar Sheikh, Dr. Ahmad al-Tayyeb? And what have the outcomes been, especially when the meeting is the first of its kind after the overthrow of the (former) Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and his regime, and as we know his anti-Hizbullah and anti-resistance stances?

- The visit has occasioned with holding the Conference of "the Arab-Islamic Gathering to Support the Option of Resistance", which is entitled "the Arab Revolutions and the Choice of Resistance"; this has been a chance to get closely acquainted with the Egyptian incidents and the situations of the influential powers there.

In fact, the Conference, attended by the Lebanese, Palestinian, and Iraqi resistances, is of significance and implications, whereby holding it in Cairo after the victorious (Egyptian) Revolution took place has confirmed Egypt's embracement and support for the resistance choice; also, the Conference has been a message to the Zionist Entity and the American Administration that are doing their best to prevent the Egyptian Revolution from reaching the requirements and goals it is supposed to get so as to retain Egypt's resistant, national, and Arab role.
Another thing that deserves consideration is the participation of an Iranian delegation in the Conference as this has been facilitated by the specialized Egyptian systems. Actually, this delegation's presence has iterated the respect and support of the Islamic Republic of Iran that has put all of its capabilities, including the scientific, military, and economic development, in the hands of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Such step conveys the message that none can obstruct the return of the relations of brotherhood, friendship, communication, and mutual benefit among the people of the meeting countries.
Actually, the visit to Dr. and Sheikh Ahmad al-Tayyeb is considered a message of thankfulness in the name of Hizbullah Secretary General, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, whereby the delegation has transmitted the regards, thanks, appreciation, and respect of His Eminence to Sheikh al-Tayyeb for his latest stances concerning his call for the necessary work to get doctrines closer; his call for unity between Arabs and Muslims and between Muslims themselves; his support for the jihad and struggle of the Resistance that has conquered the enemy; and his announcement of his special love for Hizbullah Secretary General, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

The meeting was characterized with positivity, transparency, frankness, and honesty, and it debated several issues, particularly the conspiracies which the American Administration and the Zionist enemy are conspiring against Muslims and the Arab Nation, and more specifically the attempts to carry Egypt's Revolution over, as well as its achievements.

Furthermore, we discussed the ways to lessen the doctrinal and sectarian tensions and how to face these trivial matters that distract the Muslims and Arabs or even make them forget about the major questions that are really important, especially the issue of dominance over the region and the American schemes of disintegration, guardianship, and fortunes confiscation.

*Recently Sheikh al-Azhar has declared stances calling for getting Islamic doctrines together, and he has announced opening al-Azhar door to the Shiite scholars; to what extent do these stances participate in reinforcing unity between the Arab peoples in a time the United States of America and "Israel" are doing their best to propagate sectarianism and doctrinal incitement in the Arab and Islamic Worlds so as to disintegrate the region, which is actually something we're witnessing in Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, and other countries?

-Sheikh al-Azhar's call reveals awareness, knowledge ability, and wisdom, especially when al-Azhar considers the Jaafarite doctrine is one of the main doctrines and that it is beneficial on the creedal, intellectual, and fokoh (a branch of religion) levels, in addition to the doctrine's benefit in solving many problems.

Hereupon, this call must be met positively and all responsible powers and
\religious and intellectual references must respond to it with more openness, closeness, and unity. In the end, we're facing a conspiracy against our countries and against Muslims; thus, by uniting and getting more understanding and familiar with each other, we can gather all of our powers against the main enemy (the Zionist enemy), and we can debase the doctrinal incitements, struggles, and conflicts between the sons and daughters of one religion, one doctrine, and one class.

*How do you think trialing the overthrown Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is going to affect the incidents of the Arab revolutions, and to what extent have the Resistance's victories in Lebanon participated in instigating the revolutions of the Arab World?

-As a matter of fact, trialing Hosni Mubarak has a lot of positive consequences on both of the Egyptian and the Arab levels.

Whereby it is a requirement of justice to trial who confiscated the Egyptian's freedom and dignity, governmental institutions, and economy; also who sold the public-sector institutions for private interests and exploited the economic, political, military, and security situations for his own person. Trialing him is a moral to every person that wants to dominate peoples' destinies.

Speaking about the Arab level, we find that the United States is trying to exhaust the powers of the Arab revolutionists in order to prevent the revolutions from achieving what Egypt did, and thus protect the interests of the United States and the West. The US doesn't want the Egyptian model to be repeated; this is why it is carrying the revolutions over by pressing their countries not to trial the tyrants or not to overthrow the regimes. The US does not want to face independent, national, and nationalistic decisions.

*Concerning the Lebanese situation, does the ratification of the laws of oil and maritime-borders defining represent a Lebanese step enough to protect Lebanon's fortunes from the "Israeli" greed? And how can devoting "the Army-People-Resistance Equation" participate in protecting these fortunes?

-Well, the fact that the Parliament has legislated a law which defines and draws the oil borders is an important achievement and a significance that the government and the Parliament are controlled by a serious and responsible will which adheres to people's rights, for the government and the Parliament consider that the oil fortune is absolutely neither a private possession nor a property of a certain party or category of people; instead, it belongs to the whole (Lebanese) people.

We consider that the procedures made by the Lebanese government as respects defining borders are the right thing to do. And we acknowledge the maritime borders defined by the Lebanese government; then, these borders shall become an indispensable part of Lebanon's sovereignty and independence. Hence, the Resistance shall be in charge of defending the terrestrial, aerial, and maritime borders and investing these resources absolutely freely.

*After His Eminence, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah launched "the Oil-Establishments Equation" during the commemoration of the July Victory, the "Israeli" Navy Intelligence Chief, Brigadier General Yaron Levi declared that the "Israeli" ports are going to be within the range of the Resistance's missiles next war, also that the Lebanese and Gazan challenges had become big. Hereupon, to what extent do the equations launched by His Eminence, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, impose a bitter reality and anxiety on the "Israelis" today as some parties are requesting that Hizbullah be disarmed and have set this request as a standard to launch the Dialogue again in Lebanon?

-The team demanding that Hizbullah be disarmed is today an outsider with respect to the free and independent choice of Lebanon and the Lebanese interests; thus, this team is now tied with American and "Israeli" schemes.

*Hizbullah and His Eminence Sayyed Nasrallah have settled "the Oil-Establishments Equation" when Lebanon tried to benefit from its legal rights in al-Hasbani and al-Wazzani waters; then the "Israelis" created a lot of pressure to prevent Lebanon from benefiting from its rights, and as a result, the Resistance declared a stance so courageous, daring, and strong that it considered that any bullet shot to prevent Lebanon from benefiting from its fortunes is going to make the mujahedeen counterattack the "Israelis" immediately. Then, the "Israelis" could do nothing; neither did they make any step.

-The Resistance is imposing this Equation to protect our terrestrial, maritime, and aerial rights, exactly like we protect the earth, people, independence, and sovereignty of this nation. This is a part of the arsenal which the Resistance has been committed to defending and preventing any lurking enemies from stealing these oil rigs.

This Equation bothers and worries the "Israelis" that are now unable to make any step after the achievements of the Resistance in 2000 and 2006; they know quite well that overcoming this equation is going to involve them with a catastrophe they may not be ready for...
