Once again, Hizbullah proved its high-ranked counter intelligence against enemy operations and espionage equipments.

This time Hizbullah revealed the Central Intelligence Agency's (CIA) "headquarter" in Lebanon; the US Embassy in Awkar, Beirut. The aim of the US espionage den was to gather as much information possible about Hizbullah members, resistance elements and officials.
However, Hizbullah was lying in wait for the enemy; therefore resulting in another Hizbullah success, and a US failure.

On this level, Lebanese strategic and military expert, and former Brigadier General Elias Hanna, stated that Hizbullah has for sure succeeded in revealing the CIA cells and moles, noting that the latter has lost a big range in its operation field.
Indicating the US need to spy on Hizbullah, strategic expert Hanna clarified, "In this kind of covert warfare, intelligence keeps dropping and it is part of the game. The new kind of warfare that Hizbullah is waging in these days against "Israel" needs tactical information, so in this perspective, the "Israelis", as well as the Americans, never stopped spying on Hizbullah in any means, using the newest technology."

"Therefore Hizbullah, and in order to succeed, had to have "counter intelligence", which requires skilled and well trained people, and needs new technology," he added in an interview with moqawama.org.
"Hizbullah did really succeed in revealing the CIA cells or moles, and in this perspective it reflects what level Hizbullah has reached in this field of espionage and counter espionage," Hanna further stated.

Moreover, he explained that the way Hizbullah works is totally different from a "nation-state", and elaborated that "Hizbullah is an unconventional non-state actor, and its structure gives it high degree of advantage over "Israel" as well as the Americans."
In this context, former Lebanese Brigadier General affirmed that "the structure of Hizbullah is homogeneous, small, secure, and is socially under one umbrella." "Hizbullah is smaller than the enemies, it is well connected, and it is also motivated for a certain purpose," the military expert said, with reference to the anti-"Israel" mobilization.
"So that's why Hizbullah has certain advantage over the traditional way of spying," he also noted to moqawama.org.

Without doubt, the US, and its espionage agency will be facing repercussions after this historic revelation of their breach of Lebanon's sovereignty, security, and peace.

In this regard, expert Elias Hanna furthermore stressed, "At the minimum level, the US and CIA have to reconsider their modus operandi (mode of operation); how they are working and what went wrong. They also have to change their strategy, approaches, tactics, and then they will have to recruit new informants to work with; which is going to take a long period of time, not less than 5 years."
"This is considered a time advantage for Hizbullah and a loss of the covert operations," Hanna iterated, noting that if the US now wants to spy on Hizbullah, it would need to develop "human intelligence". "Human intelligence necessitates people within the system of Hizbullah. Moreover, the level of awareness within Hizbullah's structure is increasing and the military arm has become more aware of the situation," the strategic expert confirmed.

These latest revelations represent a blatant violation which further proves the US interference in Lebanon, and its attempt to halt one of the few operators in Lebanon "not" working to serve its interests; Hizbullah.

On another level, and regarding a Lebanese official reaction to the aforementioned violation, Lebanese military expert reaffirmed that the reason behind Hizbullah's success was its homogeneous nature, and therefore if all the Lebanese parties were able to reach, in the future, one coordinated and well-organized strategy, then there would be an overall consensus.

"This grand strategy needs cooperation, sharing information, planning for the future espionage and counter espionage," Hanna stressed, excluding any form of official reaction as long as Lebanese political parties are divided.

The exposed names of CIA officers on duty are for sure a grain of dirt in a wide desert. Consecutively, Hizbullah's intelligence branch has been able for some time now to reveal Mossad and CIA espionage stations. Therefore this could mean a change in the "intelligence" balance in the region; for the so-called "invincible" operators are being downed one after the other.

United States has no room. . .

Your a great writer and have wonderful talent...also, the United States has no room in Lebanon because the U.S. government causes trouble and problems by espionage and intelligence operations; they also support Israel in killing innocent Lebanese and Palestinians. The U.S. will never want true and genuine peace in Lebanon or the Middle East because they will never want to see the Arabs standing on their feet, independent, united and strong. Hezbollah are helping the Lebanese to stand on their after Israel's wrath through Lebanon in the 70’s, 80's, 90's, and 00's. The United States must learn that Hezbollah is not going anywhere in terms of mobilizing support, whether military or financial; let me correct myself…the United States does not want to learn…they know full well that Hezbollah is to stay…after all, the Hezbollah has been around for 29 years!! The operational capabilities of Hezbollah are different from other organizations and governments simply because of their strategic networking and clandestine nature of the organization.
