In Photos: Millions in Karbala to Commemorate Arbaeen of Imam Hussein

Millions of Shiite pilgrims are walking to the holy city Karbala, the city where the holy shrine of Imam al Hussein (pbuh) is found.
According to reports, there are many processions on the way, where foods, water and other services are provided, only for the sake of al Imam Hussein (pbuh).
Karbala, the center of the province, lies 110 km south west of the capital, Baghdad.
It is well to be mentioned that Forty day visitation (Arbaeen) of Imam al Hussein is the largest gathering of people in one city, where the number in the former year reached more than 15 million with 500 thousand visitors from the outside of Iraq.
This visitation holds on the 20 of Safar, where the holy heads of Imam Hussein, family and companions returned to the holy bodies in the holy city of Karbala.
