Terrorism Rocks Damascus

A suicide bombing in central Damascus killed nine and injured tens of people. It was the second bomb blast to rock the Syrian capital Friday.
The deadly attack came as a two-week-old peace deal continued to unravel.
According to State Television, "the suicide terrorist bombing happened in the district of Midan in Damascus and resulted in a number of victims and injuries."
Hours earlier, a separate blast hit the industrial region in the capital. It was unclear whether there were any casualties in that blast.
Elsewhere in Syria, an explosion injured three security personnel in the coastal city of Banias.
This came as the Syrian Information Minister Adnan Mahmoud unveiled that "the armed terrorist groups have violated the cease-fire more than 1,300 times since it came into effect.
Meanwhile, a delegation from Syria's Popular Front for Change and Liberation opposition movement met with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov Thursday.
"The meeting aimed to overcome differences among Syrian opposition groups and boost dialogue with the government," Lavrov said.
