Soltanieh: Iran Nuclear Talks with IAEA to Set Cooperation Framework

Although Tehran has several times before has voiced its readiness to hold talks with IAEA and Group 5+1, Some powers try to bring the talks to a deadlock by raising non-technical issues such as asking Iran to halt its uranium enrichment activities held within Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Iran's ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency, Ali Akbar Soltanieh announced Monday that "the purpose of the upcoming meeting with the IAEA is to create framework for future cooperation."
An Iranian envoy voiced hope on Monday that "talks with the UN nuclear watchdog in mid-May would help resolve outstanding issues."
"We hope that this will be a very constructive and successful meeting," Iran's ambassador to the Vienna-based IAEA," Soltanieh told Reuters.
In response to a question if the IAEA could visit Parchin southeast of the capital Tehran, Soltanieh said that "every action will be implemented based on this framework, afterward."
