The Palestinian Ahrar Center for Prisoners Studies and Human Rights confirmed Thursday that the "Israeli" prison service resorted to a new way to discourage and intimidate prisoners against going on hunger strike.

Fouad Khuffash, the director of the Center, affirmed that the "Israeli" prison service distributed to the strikers medical bulletins in Arabic, warning them from the negative consequences of the strike on their health, in an attempt to intimidate the prisoners.
He added that the prisoners did not show any interest to these bulletins.

"They collected them and threw them out of their cells," he added.
Khuffash also noted that the "Israeli" authority is extremely disturbed by the strike, trying to end it by any way as soon as possible before it expands more.
"Despite the huge urgent political issues especially the early election, the "Israeli" PM is following up the strike issue with deep concern," he unveiled.

In parallel, Prisoners Society lawyer Jawad Bulus announced Wednesday that the "Israeli" prison guards are shackling Bilal Thiab, a Palestinian detainee who has refused food for 64 days.
He also clarified that "Thiab, 27, lost consciousness on Tuesday and was briefly taken to the emergency rooms."

"A group of "Israeli" prison service officials and the hospital's deputy director were in Thiab's room when I visited him," the lawyer said, noting that "Thiab complained that he couldn't sleep because of six cuffs shackling him to the bed."
"Prison guards refused to remove the shackles so he could pray," he said, adding that "guards forced him to wait for an hour and a half to use the toilet."

"The hospital director warned Thiab that he urgently needed certain fluids but Thiab refused to discuss anything until his shackles were removed," Bulus said.

A doctor from the so-called "Physicians for Human Rights-"Israel" who visited Thiab on Tuesday warned his condition was life-threatening."
"Bilal's life-threatening condition includes sharp weight loss, concern for peripheral nerve damage, extremely low pulse (39 beats per minute), low blood pressure, severe dehydration, and possible internal bleeding," the doctor said.
