Imam Khamenei: Movements Started by Islamic Revolution Will Continue
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei announced Friday that "the movement that started with the Islamic revolution in Iran will continue."
In a meeting with a group of the veterans of the eight-year Iraqi war on Iran, Imam Khamenei stressed that "the path of the Islamic revolution will be continued by young people who will take the flag up if any of combatants falls down."
His Eminence further hailed the Iranian defense events as "a subtle and beautiful portrait."
Ayatollah Khamenei said thousands of books with highest athletics standards were needed to record and portray the details of sacrifices of Iran's combatants.
"The performance of Iranian combatants during the imposed war was highly successful, invaluable, grand and bewildering," Imam Khamenei viewed.
