Iran's envoy to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Ali Asghar Soltanieh considered that the UN watchdog's report on Iran's nuclear activities is "proof that Tehran's program is peaceful."

"The report once again proves to the international community that all Iranian nuclear activities are successfully underway and are uninterrupted, and that there is no diversion in Iran's nuclear material towards military objectives," Sothanieh stressed.
He further viewed that " the report is more proof of the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear activities and of our country's success in the field of nuclear technology, in particular enrichment, and its full cooperation with the agency."

The agency report said that the traces found at the Fordo site, inside a mountain bunker near Qom, were of uranium enriched to purities of 27 percent.
The agency's report came hours after the end of seven-nation talks in Baghdad. The game of high-stakes poker over Iran's nuclear program is to enter another round. Positions have already been staked ahead of a meeting scheduled for mid-June in Moscow.
As discussions drew to a close Friday, chief Iranian negotiator Saeed Jalili said, "Both sides now understand each other's positions better."

Iran's top negotiator, Jalili, underscored that the country is ready for cooperation and negotiations on its nuclear issue provided that the Iranian nation's rights are respected.
"We consider any discussion and cooperation in the field of nuclear issue justifiable. However, in this way, winning Iranian nation's confidence is also noteworthy," he stressed.
He further expressed belief that "dialogue provides an opportunity to help peace in different fields... But what's of importance and should be taken into consideration in cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran is observing rights of nations."

He said to this end, Iran is not an exception. "Iran acts on its duties based on NPT, stressing that alike all countries, Iran's right to use peaceful nuclear energy should be respected."
He recommended that if the negotiators want the talks be successful, they should act based on the strategy of dialogue-cooperation.

Asked about enrichment, he said, "Enrichment for peaceful purposes is our absolute right and can serve as an issue for cooperation."
European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton led negotiations by the P5+1 group of the United Nations Security Council's permanent members - China, France, Russia, the UK and the US - along with Germany.
"It is clear that both sides want progress, and that there is indeed common ground," she said.
