Syria’s Hama Victim of another Terrorist Act
An official source at the Syrian Hama Province confirmed on Thursday that the news circulated about "spilling the bloods of Syrians in the Qubair village in Hama's rural area, are completely false".
In a statement, the Syrian official source said that an armed terrorist group broke into the said village, and committed a terrible massacre that claimed the lives of 9 civilians; among them women and children, SANA reported.
The source added that after the crime, the village's residents called upon the province's authorities to interfere, protect them, and halt the terrorists' crimes. Therefore, Special Forces from the army headed towards the said village, broke into the headquarters of the terrorist group in that area, and clashed with them; killing the members of the group, and confiscating their weapons that included RBGs, machineguns and hand grenades.
Also, the clashes resulted in the martyrdom of two Special Forces' soldiers, and the injury of 5 others.
The official source from the Hama Province also added that after investigations, the time of killing was revealed to be at 10:00 am Wednesday; at the time when the armed terrorist group was in the village.
This crime comes as another attempt to hinder the diplomatic and political efforts to solve the Syrian crisis.
