“Israel” Homeless in Egypt

Local Editor
"Israel's" Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that it has been unable to find a new location for its embassy in Cairo, describing the diplomatic staff there as "homeless".
The embassy was shut down last September after it was stormed by Egyptian demonstrators demanding an end to the Camp David peace agreement between the two countries.
On September 9, the protesters destroyed a part of a barricade wall around the embassy building and broke into the building, despite the presence of heavily-armed Egyptian security forces in the area. The demonstrators threw documents out of the embassy windows and torched a police car, reports said.
In a statement, the ministry said that it has been looking, without success, for a "more secure" location for its embassy.
