Fresh “Israeli” Strikes on Gaza Strip

Palestinian medical sources reported that the "Israeli" occupation forces launched on Saturday dawn fresh air strikes on the Gaza Strip, following a series of strikes hit earlier on Friday.
The latest strikes targeted the central and northern Gaza City at 2:00 am Saturday, wounding about 20 Palestinians, demolishing and damaging many buildings and facilities.
"Israeli" sources reported that the warplanes targeted former Hamas security sites in Gaza, and two camps of the Hamas armed wing, Ezzeddine al-Qassam Brigades.
The "Israeli" sources claimed that the strikes came in response to a rocket fired earlier in the week into the south of the occupied territories, without causing any casualties or damages.
Earlier on Friday, Palestinian medics reported the martyrdom of 2 Palestinians and the injury of four in two consecutive enemy airstrikes.
Local medics reported that the first strike was launched Friday afternoon, and targeted the east of al-Bureij area in central Gaza, killing 29-year-old civilian Basel Ahmad. Sources added that the second strike, hit Friday evening, led to the martyrdom of 20-year-old Homam Abou Qadous, who was roaming on his motorbike in the northern Gaza Strip when the strike took place.
