"Israeli" paper, Maariv, reported Thursday that senior leaders of the "Israeli" army are demanding the government to grant the army $15 Billion over the coming five years, in order to deploy the military in full capacity along the border with Egypt.
Maariv said that the army conducted a study about the current situation in Egypt, especially after the overwhelming victory of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Egyptian parliamentary election, and the presidency.
"Israeli" military sources reported that the army should be deployed at full capacity along the border with Egypt "before it too late".
Maariv added that the statements of the newly elected president of Egypt, Mohammad Morsi, regarding respecting the Camp David peace agreement with Israel, are encouraging and were enough to satisfy the political leadership in "Israel", but not the military.
