Bahraini Court Postpones Trial of Activists Rajab, Abou Thib

The Higher Appeals court in Bahrain postponed the trial of Head of the Teachers' association, Mahdi Abou Thib, and his deputy Jalila al-Salman, as they are waiting for a health report after the torture Abou Thib was subjected to during his detention.
Also, the court postponed the trial of Head of Bahraini Center for Human Rights, Nabeel Rajab, until next September.
Rajab is facing five charges; three related to protesting, insulting a state institution and expressing stances via the internet.
On this level, Human Rights Watch urged the Bahraini authorities, couple of days ago, to immediately and unconditionally release the Human Rights activist Nabeel Rajab, and drop all charges indicting him for "freedom of expression" on online social networks.
