Bahraini Forces Attack Peaceful Protest, Injure Protester

Saudi-backed Bahraini regime forces attacked an anti-regime rally in the north of the country, and injured at least one protester.
The Friday clashes broke out after Saudi-backed forces fires toxic tear gas and birdshot to disperse the crowd calling against the brutal regime. Similar demonstrations were held in the villages of Diraz, Bilad al-Qaseem, and Musalla, Press TV reported.
According to Bahraini activists, at least one Bahraini protester was injured after regime forces fired birdshots at the crowd in the village of Musalla.
Almost daily, the Saudi-backed Bahraini forces are reiterating their violent crackdown against peaceful demonstrators who are demanding their legitimate rights.
Since mid-February 2011, thousands of anti-regime protesters have been staging rallies across the country, demanding the downfall of the Al-Khalifa regime, and the immediate release of all peaceful human rights activists, and political prisoners.
