“Israeli” PM: US-Led Sanctions on Iran Have Failed

"Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the US-led sanctions against Iran have failed to stop Tehran's nuclear energy program.
"Neither sanctions nor diplomacy have yet had any impact on Iran's nuclear program," Netanyahu said.
During a meeting with visiting US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta on Wednesday, Netanyahu addressed Panetta saying "America and "Israel" have ... made clear that all options are on the table. You yourself said a few months ago that when all else fails, America will act."
"But these declarations have also not yet convinced the Iranians to stop their program."
He added that ‘forceful' statements have failed to force Iran into believing that the West is serious about stopping its nuclear activities and added time to resolve the issue ‘peacefully' was running out.
On Tuesday the US administration imposed new illegal economic sanctions against Iran's energy sector.
One day after Obama announced new sanctions against Iran, the US Congress also approved more illegal embargoes against Tehran, which seek to punish banks, insurance companies and shippers that help Tehran sell its oil.
