MP Moussawi: Bids on Regional Development Delusionary, Agreement on New Electoral Law Path to Consensus

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member MP Nawwaf Moussawi Monday said the Lebanese should reach consensus, starting with agreeing over a new electoral law that guarantees a true and fair representation.
Moussawi added that the Lebanese formula have had its proper rules which stands steely in face of regional developments, also in face of any "Israeli" aggression on Lebanon.
Speaking during a commemorative ceremony at Deir Ontar southern town, Moussawi said this plurality formula was built on balance and partnership.
Addressing those who wager on external changes, Moussawi urged them to quit deeming any attempt to employ these changes to their personal favor as a failure.
Moussawi rebuked the other party's rejection to dialogue and said that such a unilateral authoritarian mentality was still insisting on taking over Lebanon by itself. He emphasized that only dialogue will allow the Lebanese to retrieve their occupied lands and will defeat the US attempts of sowing sectarian strife in Lebanon and the region.
He further assured that "Our slogan since the beginning has been working together for Lebanon, for a free and sovereign country that is not dictated by ambassadors and delegates.
On the Syrian level, Moussawi concluded that the war of erosion taking place in Syria will only end by an international compromise or by victory of the State over its opponents.
