Go back 6 years in time. The 24th day of the "Israeli" war on Lebanon had now ended. At 1:00 a.m., two squads of "Israeli" infantrymen approached the town so as to seize the strategic locations.
But explosive bombs were implanted all along the town entrances, and the fighters yearned so much for martyrdom that they were indeed fearless. As soon as the moonlight of the 13th night of the Hijri month of Rajab exposed the "Israeli" soldiers' shadows, the fighters opened their fire.
The battle was so short, and both brigades retreated from the place while surveillance planes with missiles covered their withdrawal towards al-Jamousse Site. Being exposed wherever they went, the perplexed infantrymen dashed to a little crypt and started launching many gas grenades in order to cover their withdrawal. Then they walked more than 4 kilometers, carrying the wounded ones on stretchers until reinforcement vehicles arrived.

On the 12th of August, several vehicles and a bulldozer passed by al-Khazzan Hill and approached Tiri, making a new way to reach Haddatha Crossing Point. The bulldozer was now near the UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon) Headquarters, and the vehicles were at Tiri's entrance.
