It seems that the Syrian crisis fire extended to Lebanon and the rebels' actions against our country reached no limits.

On Wednesday, conflicting reports emerged on the fate of the 11 Lebanese hostages kidnapped by Syrian rebels since last May.
After alleged claims on an airstrike that hit Azaz region in Aleppo, northwest Syria where the kidnapped Lebanese are held, some media reports talked about the death of all the 11 hostages.

Others talked of the death of four hostages while 7 were wounded and transferred to the Turkish hospitals.

However, well- informed Turkish sources assured to al-Manar Lebanese television that all the Lebanese hostages are in good condition.
Similarly, Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour stressed Wednesday night that his Turkish counterpart Ahmed Davutoglu told him that the 11 pilgrims kidnapped in Syria were all safe.

The men were kidnapped in May in Syria shortly after crossing from Turkey. They were heading back to Lebanon after a pilgrimage visit to the Holy shrines in Iran.

The reports of the abductees' fate rose anger among their families and on the streets of the capital. And in response, the relatives of the hostages blocked roads both to and from the Beirut's international airport.
Meanwhile, the National News Agency reported that Beirut's airport road that was open amid a heavy deployment of armed forces.
