Rallies Sweep Across the Globe: al-Quds…We Are Coming!
From the different realms and parts of the sphere, people raised voices and slogans assuring to the capital of Occupied Palestine: We will not forget, we will not let go.

lions across the world commemorated al-Quds International day on the last Friday of the Holy month of Ramadan, reiterating the pledge of liberating the occupied Palestinian territories and defending the rights of the oppressed, as Founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Ruhollah Khomeini had summoned 32 years ago. From East to West, slogans were upstretched on Friday, with one single aim: Supporting al-Quds, supporting the occupied land...supporting the Palestinian Cause.
Massive rallies took place in the Iranian capital of Tehran and all other cities on the International Quds Day in support of the Palestinian resistance against the "Israeli" regime on Friday.
Millions of enthusiastic Iranians in more than 550 cities and towns have taken to the streets to express the Islamic Republic's solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people, and also to voice their anger at the policies of the hegemonic powers.
The participants are carrying placards and chanting slogans against the United States and "Israel".
Rallies across Pakistan were carried out to express solidarity with the Palestinians struggling for the liberation of Beit-ul-Moqaddas. The protestors also condemned massacre of Muslims in Myanmar and killings of Shias in northern part of Pakistan. Thousands of Muslims participated in the rallies. The rallies were carried in all major cities of Pakistan in which the protesters expressed concern over the silence of the international community over the atrocities by Zionists on Palestinians.
Addressing a rally in Islamabad, Allama Asghari Askri, central leader of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen said that it is the duty of all Muslims to get back the control of al-Quds from Zionists.
American and "Israeli" flags were set ablaze during the rallies. The participants also carried posters of the Palestinian ‘martyrs' and others with slogans like 'Struggle will continue till the liberation of Palestine.'
During the rallies, a bomb blast targeted a bus of participants, killing two and injuring 16.
For their part, Iraqi people marked the International al-Quds Day to show support for the Palestinian resistance against "Israel". They took to the streets in different parts of Baghdad and across the country to mark the Day as a sign of solidarity with Palestinians.
Moreover, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, many Muslims and members of other religions, got together at the Mosque do Bras to celebrate and to send a clear message of support to the Palestinian cause during the commemoration of the day.
Thousands of Palestinians entered al-Quds to mark the Day, despite the restrictions put in place by the "Israeli" regime. Moreover, thousands of Palestinians commemorated the day in the different Palestinian cities as well as the refugee camps in exile.
Rallies and demos were also held in Turkey, London, Sydney, Capetown, Tunisia, Yemen, and other countries.
On Wednesday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei called for an enthusiastic participation in demonstrations marking the International Quds Day. Ayatollah Khamenei said that a high turnout on Quds Day would give a crushing response to the enemies of Islam and the Palestinians.
In 1979, Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic, designated the last Friday of the lunar month of Ramadan as the International Quds Day, during which Muslims across the world hold rallies to show their solidarity with Palestinians.
