"Israel's" fury on the massive international participation at the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit in Tehran surfaced as "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has branded the summit as a "stain on humanity."

"So many in the international community appear to have learned nothing. I think this is a disgrace and a stain on humanity," Netanyahu said in a meeting with Prime Minister David McAllister of the German state of Lower Saxony on Wednesday.
“Israel” Furious Over NAM: Summit Stain on Humanity "Israel" Matzav had criticized UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon's participation. In a report it published on Thursday, the "Israeli" website claimed that "Ban should have stayed home. Any of his statements could have been made just as effectively from the UN's podium. And if he had stayed home, maybe some of those 120 nations would have kept their delegates home too."
On the participation of Ban Ki-Moon, UN spokesperson Martin Nesirky said that Ki-Moon will attend the upcoming Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit in Iran despite pressures from the US and "Israel"
Reuters had quoted an anonymous diplomatic source saying "It's a very important bloc of nations. Of course the SG is going; He can't not go."
Previously, the US and the "Israeli" regimes had urged the UN secretary general to refrain from attending the meeting of NAM and had even termed Ban's possible trip to Tehran a "big mistake."
The remarks by Netanyahu come as more than 100 countries are partaking in the summit in Tehran.

NAM is an international organization with 120 member states, almost two third of the members of the United Nations General Assembly.
