Syrian homeland sources stated that "the situation was calm in the cities, villages and towns of East Ghouta."
In remarks to "al-Watan" Syrian daily, civil sources in Qudsaya, a city to the north west of Damascus, maintained the declared truce there, where only the Syrian Army is present there.

"The armed rebels disappeared and the citizens covered the Mandate flags and all anti-authority slogans written on walls with white," the sources clarified.
They further mentioned that "90 percent of the city's residents have returned to their homes and markets returned to work."

According to the same sources, "despite the sounds of explosions and shots on Monday night, the security remained controlled away from deterioration."In Aleppo, the army carried out two qualitative operations against terrorists near al-Orouba and the Sports clubs in Bustan al-Basha Neighborhood.

Moreover, in al-Sakhour neighborhood in Aleppo, a number of armed groups' leaders were killed as they were hiding near Syriatel customer service center during a qualitative operation carried out by the armed forces.
The source added that the army also seized a number of rifles, pistols, communication sets, counterfeited passports and stolen cancer medicines.
The operations resulted in the killing of a number of armed men.

Meanwhile, the competent authorities confiscated 38,000 Liters of oil being prepared to be smuggled out near al-Barkoum Bridge in Aleppo.
They also carried painful blows to the armed groups in al-Hosn town in Homs countryside.
