"80% of the Syrian province, Aleppo, has been cleared of armed terrorist group," this was announced by the Secretary-General for the Syrian Democratic Party Ahmad Koussa.

In a phone interview with "al-Intiqad" website, Koussa unveiled from the province of Aleppo, that" militants are currently based in the eastern North of the province including al-Assad, al-Sakhur, Bab Neirab and al-Shaar suburbs."
"The army was recently able, through its qualitative operations, to purify many parts of Aleppo as al-Hamadinieh, al-Ameriya, Saif ad-Douls, Radio street, New Kallaseh, Maysaloun, Sabia Bahrat, and other areas," he mentioned.
In parallel, Koussa noted to "the spread of division and disintegration among armed groups in Aleppo as is the case between Nusra Front and the so-called Free Syrian Army."
"This was clearly reflected in the areas of Baiden and al-Maamel where clashes erupted between Syrian gunmen and other foreigners due to disputes on sharing thefts and treating the wounded," the official highlighted.
On the centering of the armed groups, Koussa stated that "they gather in the old city market as they are spreading havoc and desolation."
" They are currently trapped by the army," he revealed.
Moving to the ground battles, the party's head stated that "many Syrian Army units are scoring progress in the neighborhood of al-Sakhur where they managed to kill a large numbers of militants."
"The situation is similar in Basha Gardens and Dwar al-Qadi," he said and noted that "the terrorist groups fired armed mortars at Sulaimaniyah neighborhood wounding several citizens."
Furthermore, "al-Intiqad" reported that the Syrian Arab Army managed to clear the "al-Hajar al-Aswad" [Black Stone] in Damascus after a qualitative operation carried out in different neighborhoods.
During the operation, the army confiscated large quantities of weapons, and managed to kill dozens of terrorists, prompting the "FSA" to announce a tactical withdrawal from the area.
In Homs, the army failed attempts of infiltration from the Northern Lebanese areas of Halat and Adeline, in the countryside of Talkalakh.
The clashes resulted in the death of 9 gunmen and a sniper in Bab Hood, while 5 Syrian army soldiers were wounded in Homs.
