Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stressed Wednesday that "Iran is under threat of military action from uncivilized Zionists."

He also highlighted that "such threats from big powers are designed to force nations into submission."

"Continued threat by the uncivilized Zionists to resort to military action against our great nation is a clear example of this bitter reality," Ahmadinejad said in a 33-minute speech before the UN General Assembly.

In parallel, he underlined the weak structure of the UN, and declared that his country is ready to help revise the structure of the international body.

Ahmadinejad reiterated that "discrimination is not acceptable in any form and Iran is ready to help correct the structure of the United Nations."

"I represent a great and proud nation," he said, and highlighted that his "noble nation has a global vision and welcomes any vision that provides peace, stability, and tranquility."

The Iranian President emphasized that an independent team should have conducted investigations and trial with regard to the events caused by terrorism such as the Sept. 11 attacks and the handling of Osama bin Laden's death.

He also stated that the "Zionist-ruled media need to reveal the reality of what's going on in the world."

"The Security Council is controlled by a handful of governments, and mankind will be better if these countries didn't handle such power," Ahmadinejad confirmed.

In parallel, he emphasized that "arms race and intimidation by nuclear weapons and weapons of mass-destruction by the hegemonic powers have become prevalent."

"Hegemonic powers have utilized and threatened other countries with nuclear power," the head of the Iranian nation said.

"No one feels secure or safe, even if governments have stockpiles of such weapons," he stated and called for a new world order based on "cooperation and harmony."

Ahmadinejad said the way to get out of the current situation is a "new order" which is much needed by the world. In this context, he invited all in the world to play a role in the decision-making process in the world.
