“Hamas” Imposes New Fear Factor on “Israel”

Military expert of Haaretz newspaper, Amos Harel, mentioned that "Hamas" Movement is tactically attempting to impose a new game on the "Israeli" - Palestinian frontline in the Gaza strip. "Hamas" also brings about a fear factor; every activity the "Israeli" army performs behind the separating line of Gaza strip will come at a price.
Harel added that despite that most military statement, during the first few weeks of the Knesset elections, focused on the Iranian threat, the gradual escalation on Gaza borders seems to pose as crucial concerns. This escalation was bound to create a political threat on "Israeli" PM Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu, however, does not seek a broad military encounter with "Hamas". In addition, it is hard to believe that Hamas' command is interested in such an encounter. Yet the past few weeks displayed a close clash between "Israel" and "Hamas", which will eventually cast its shadow on the Knesset elections.
It is noteworthy to mention that 20 rockets were launched Monday morning from Gaza to "Israel". No injuries occurred in this round "Hamas" publically adopted. In response, air forces attacked "Hamas"-related targets in Gaza strip, which also did not result in any injuries.
Moreover, Harel stated that in contrast to previous rounds, what occurred in the past two weeks was clearly initiated by "Hamas", which does not ignore the rockets fired from the Global Jihad anymore. Now, "Hamas" violently commences fire and does not fear to announce it. Tactic-wise, the organization is trying to impose new game rules on the separating border with Gaza. "Hamas" is also bringing on a fear factor; every activity the Israeli army makes behind the wall and sometimes near it, will come at a price.
Every time the "Israeli" army crosses the wall to dismantle the Palestinian-planted bombs, mortars shower the "Israeli" forces. The units that launched the mortars belong to Hamas' defense system. In a similar event last weekend, mortars were launched on "Israeli" forces, and air force planes struck "Hamas" nests, which resulted in one death.
Hamas doesn't seem to be satisfied with the recent violence round. It lost four of
its men till now with no casualties in "Israeli" lines. If this violent conflict were to lead on, it will eventually place "Hamas" in a serious pickle.
To the moment, the "Israeli" response was much controlled; striking the nests of Hamas missile launching, yet if the situation carries on as it is, tables will be turned. The Zionist government lately adopted Sunday the wall expansion to include the towns located 7km away from the strip. The government cannot suffice by that if news constantly broadcasted Negev inhabitants as they run for shelter.
