Jihad, Fouad and Imad are three brothers in the Fayez Moghnieh family. Their martyrdom one after the other separated them, yet martyrdom itself was their way to be reunited.
Jihad, 28, was an Islamic resistance fighter killed on June 11, 1984 by shelling when he was saving a family in Bir ElAbed. He was the first martyr in his family.
On December 21, 1994, Hajj Fouad Moghnieh followed his brother. Fouad, 31, was killed in a car bomb near his work in Sfeir district, in Birut's southern Suburb (Dahiyeh). The bomb that killed him was set for his brother Imad, who was unharmed.
The network which executed the assassination at that time was captured and "Israeli" Mossad agent Ahmad Hallak was one of the perpetrators. He monitored martyr Fouad and made a detailed map of his work place and house and set a plan to assassinate him. Hallak fled to Philippine and then to "Israel" to settle at the border line with occupied Palestine in 1996. The Lebanese Army Intelligence, in cooperation with the Islamic resistance, brought him gradually out of the "Israeli" controlled security zone and then he was tried and executed.
14 years later, Hizbullah leader Hajj Imad Moghnieh joined his two brothers as a martyr after a life full of heroic achievements against "Israel" and its agents.
