Nigeria Finds Location of Abducted Schoolgirls

Nigeria's top military officer said on Monday that the authorities has found the location of more than 200 abducted schoolgirls, who are being held by Boko Haram militants.
"The good news for the girls is that we know where they are, but we cannot tell you." Nigeria's Chief of Defense Staff Air Marshal Alex Badeh, said on Monday. He added "we can't go and kill our girls in the name of trying to get them back."
Marshal Badeh further insisted that the Nigerian military know what he is doing to release the kidnapped schoolgirls.
On April 14, a total of 276 students were abducted from the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok.
According to security forces, 53 of the girls managed to escape, and 223 remain captive.
Meanwhile, suspected Boko Haram gunmen have stormed a Christian village in Waga village in Adamawa state Northeastern Nigeria, killing 20 residents, a government spokesman Ahmad Soji said on Monday.
"The whereabouts of several other people are still unknown but it is assumed they fled into the bush to escape the attack and are yet to return," he added.
Soji further stated that a second attack by gunmen on nearby Gublak village was repelled by soldiers.
Adamawa state, which is one of three states under emergency law along with Borno and Yobe has faced series of deadly Boko Haram attacks.
At least 24 people were killed on Sunday when Boko Haram gunmen raided Kumuta village in Borno State.
In February, the group killed around 34 people and burnt scores of homes in bombing and shooting attacks against Michika, Kirchiga and Shuwa towns near the border with Borno state.
