Hizbullah: US slogans of democracy and freedom are deceptive and contradict with the diplomacy of warships

Hizbullah issued the following statement: "The George Bush Administration is trying in vain to extend its hegemony over Lebanon and the region; sending warships to the Lebanese coast is but a declaration of the failure of other forms of intervention and tutelage through other local tools, despite all the open political and financial backing, forcing the original party (USA) to blatantly interfere rather than via its agents. This reveals the actual project that has been faced by the Lebanese opposition along with the majority of the Lebanese people; a project of American tutelage that prevents the convergence of the Lebanese, hampers initiatives and incites groups one against the other, as it wants to withdraw all elements of strength from their hands for the benefit of its strategic ally, the Zionist enemy.
The statement added: "The embarrassment, agitation and confusion among the ruling bloc was clear in its dealing with the scandal of intervention and endangering stability, security and sovereignty, by their American boss who announced that he had consulted with them on a regular basis about its steps, which turns them to full partners in what is happening. This reveals their role as agents to the outside despite open attempts of disclaiming such accusation, or an attempt to lift their false morale, as morale non existent among the soldiers of their master who is defeated in the region, and the soldiers of their master's "Israeli" ally who were defeated in Lebanon."
The statement concluded: "The slogans of democracy and freedom of peoples advocated by Washington seem deceptive and false because they contradict with the diplomacy of warships and the gun barrels, dating back to a bygone colonial era that will never be repeated. Such methods were experienced by the independent peoples, including the people of Lebanon, who possess a unique experience in this context, which keeps it free from submitting to extortion and show of force, especially at a moment when the American project in the whole region is faltering.
