Over 30 thousand visitors to the United Kingdom Parliament's official website have signed an online petition in the past few days, calling for the arrest of "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu upon his arrival in London next month.
Petitioners accuses the Zionist prime minister of war crimes. British law states that if such a petition reaches 100,000 online signatures, parliament must discuss it officially.
The text of the petition reads, "Benjamin Netanyahu is to hold talks in London this September. Under international law he should be arrested for war crimes upon arrival in the UK for the massacre of over 2000 civilians in 2014."
During the "Israeli" aggression on Gaza, more than 2,000 Palestinian were killed in the Gaza Strip, most of them civilians, according the UN figures.
However, "Israeli" officials believe that the British government will not approve the discussion of such a petition in parliament.
Last June, shortly before former "Israeli" War Minister and "Israeli" War Chief of General Staff Shaul Mofaz visited London, concerns arose that he would face an arrest warrant upon arrival.
