Hizbullah Criticizes Solana Remarks as Insulting to more than Half of Lebanese People

17-03-2008
A Hizbullah media source criticized Solana's remarks as insulting to the more than half the Lebanese people represented by the opposition. "What Solana said is far from being objective. It is an echo of the United States' position. If Washington deals with its allies in Lebanon as tools, this does not apply on the opposition. An independent European policy on Lebanon is more beneficial to Lebanon's ties with Arab states on the one hand and with Europe on the other."
