On the Anniversary of the birth of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), Hizbullah would like to congratulate all Muslims on the birth of the prophet of charity and the symbol of justice and equality, the defender of human values and the oppressed. Hizbullah considers it an occasion for human society and all believers, namely Muslims, to take on their immense responsibility in front of the Lord Allah (SWT) in the face of oppression, injustice and occupation, to carry the responsibility of resistance for freedom and independence on one hand and raising the banner of unity and brotherhood among all Muslims and the subjugated on the other.
On this occasion Hizbullah condemns the abuse and distortion directed at the Prophet of humanity (pbuh), coming from offensive sides, especially in Denmark and some ministers in Germany, who insist on their actions despite all the denunciation and disapproval taking place. Whilst Hizbullah reasserts the need to respect all religions and divine messages, it invites Muslims and believers in the world, states and peoples, to examine steps to be taken jointly, that constitute a barrier against the continuance of these repeated insults.
Hizbullah also finds that this recklessness in dealing with the sanctities of Muslims would not have been thus, nor would anyone have dared degrade them, had the Arab and Islamic states dealt with this issue in a serious, unified and firm manner; we therefore call upon the Arab League and the Organization of the Islamic Conference to translate their positions, expressed through the media, into actions rather than leave them as mere ink on paper.
