Travel agent and air carrier Thomas Cook announced suspending all flights to Sharm el-Sheikh until November 12 following guidance from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

UK’s Thomas Cook: No Flights to Sharm el-Sheikh until Nov. 12

The decision comes after a Russian passenger plane crashed in the air of Sinai after leaving the Egyptian tourist resort, killing everyone on board.

British authorities announced on Wednesday evening they believed the crash could have been caused by an "ISIS" bomb aboard the plane.
As a result of the decision, more than 20,000 British tourists are currently stranded in Sharm el-Sheikh.

In light of the change to travel advice, Cook canceled its flight and holiday program to the place up to and including Thursday 12 November 2015. The agency said the safety of customers was "our absolutely priority" and all holidaymakers would be able to stay in their accommodation free of charge.

British FM Philip Hammond told ITV News that "special measures" to bring stranded tourists back to Britain would begin Friday. But he added that normal services would take much longer to resume due to increased security measures.
