British FM: UK Helping Saudi-led Yemen Campaign

Local Editor
UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said Tuesday that British troops are helping identify targets for a Saudi-led military campaign in Yemen, claiming they haven't found any "deliberate" breaches of humanitarian law.
Relatively, the British government's support for Saudi airstrikes against the impoverished country was criticized by human rights groups, who accuse Saudi Arabia of bombing civilians.
However, the British government didn't disclose details of the UK military involvement.
Besides, Hammond told lawmakers in the House of Commons that "I can't tell you whether it is six people, but we do have a military presence in Saudi Arabia and we are working with the Saudi Arabians to ensure the following of correct procedures to avoid breaches of international humanitarian law."
For its part, "Doctors Without Borders" [MSF] organization accused Saudi Arabia of bombing two of its hospitals in Yemen.
In parallel, Foreign Affairs Spokesman for the opposition Labor Party, Hilary Benn, called for an "immediate review" of British arms exports licenses to Saudi Arabia in the wake of the reported strikes on hospitals.
Not to mention, Saudi Arabia is recorded the world's biggest buyer of British weapons.
