Liberating ’Al-Qaryatayn’ Hampers ’Daesh’ in al-Qalamoun

Syrian town of al-Qaryatayn slipped off Daesh's [the Arabic acronym for the terrorist "ISIS" group] fist. The Syrian army and its allies restored it few days after restoring the northeastern neighboring Palmyra. This is how the army continued to cut Daesh supply lines from the desert towards al-Qalamoun, after it was easy to cross ar-Raqqa to reach Palmyra, then al-Qaryatayn to reach al-Qalamoun.
Lebanon... So Much Benefited
The consequences of restoring al-Qaryatayn exceed the Syrian borders to reach Lebanon; it is for Lebanon a huge achievement.
Military sources explained to al-Ahed website: "the strategic threat to Lebanon from ar-Raqqa to Palmyra and al-Qaryatayn is over,"... therefore it is no more easy for Daesh to send executive tools of its terrorist plans from ar-Raqqa to Lebanon, as it was doing previously, then sending suicide bombers and logisticians to execute the twin suicide bombs of Borj al-Barajneh in Beirut's southern suburb last year.
Liberating al-Qaryatayn
Liberating al-Qaryatayn and Palmyra contribute to tightening the grip on the Takfiri terrorists in al-Qalamoun and its outskirts, as well as in Arsal outskirts.
Hence, their options to flee the place or retreat to inside Syria became very difficult in case any internal clash took place between them, meaning Daesh and al-Nusra, just like what happened lately in Arsal outskirts, or a clash between them and the Syrian army and its allies, or with the Lebanese Army...
Herein, the same sources noted that "it is no more possible for them, in case they wanted to flee, but to do it individually rather than in groups, and on feet rather than in vehicles eastward via Qara crossing point moving toward eastern al-Qalamoun... Even this option, of moving individually, will not prevent them -according to the sources- from being killed because the "Syrian and Lebanese military eyes are open, and several cases took place in which the terrorists fell before reaching their desired destination, mainly from the side of Arsal.
The Lebanese Army is Awake
Security sources confirmed that it will continue to thwart the terrorists' fleeing attempts towards the Lebanese soil, especially towards Arsal.
"All crossing points and gaps from and towards the outskirts are under the Lebanese army's control, whether through field existence or monitoring, in which the terrorists besieged in the outskirts won't find it easy to infiltrate inside Lebanon after they lost their main supply line from ar-Raqqa." ...
The same sources further expressed "the army's insistence to carry out sudden operations against Takfiri groups in Arsal and al-Qalamoun outskirts, as it happened some two weeks ago."
