Hizbullah: Attack on journalists by ‘Israelis is aimed at stopping those witnesses from broadcasting their horrible crim

Date: 18-04-2008
The Media Relations office in Hizbullah issued the following statement commenting on the lastest crime committed by ‘Israel' in which the journalist Fadel Shanaa and several innocent civilians were attacked. It came as follows:
The ugly crime that ended the life of Reuters photographer in occupied Gaza, martyr Fadel Shanaa, along with several innocent civilians is a witness to the violation of the enemy of all taboos and human principles.
The targeting of journalists is meant to prevent them from passing on their eyewitness account of the ‘Israeli' crimes to the whole world, because the truth that they expose is the strongest incrimination of the enemy and its colluding leaders.
It is no surprise that this massacre occurred at the same time as the Qana massacre anniversary in Lebanon to emphasize the identity of the sole criminal and that we all, in Palestine and Lebanon, are common victims of its remorseless criminality.
It concluded: We convey our true condolences to families of martyr Shanaa and the other martyrs. We ask the Lord to grant them patience and comfort.
