Hizbullah: We are on the right political track, American allegations are a medal of honor
Date: 19-04-2008
In a comment on George W. Bush's recent statements, Hizbullah issued the following statement:

It is an honor for any resistance to be accused by the world's tyrants and thieves of its resources, by the warmongers and heads of global terrorism, the likes of George W. Bush and his administration...to be accused of a range of erroneous allegations, namely terrorism. Therefore, Hizbullah considers the American administration accusations a Legion of Honor on the chest of its resistance fighters and an assurance that Hizbullah is on the right political track and that it poses a real danger to the American- ‘Israeli' scheme as a whole.
It is no secret that the neo-conservatives and their ruling administration in Washington pose the most serious threat to international peace and stability through their mobile, preemptive and anticipated wars from which the Lebanese have suffered, the latest of which was the July-August 2006 American-‘Israeli' war that George W. Bush and his commanders split responsibility with the heads of the Zionist entity over the horrifying massacres of women and children and the destruction of the environment and infrastructure. They share the same responsibility over the daily bloody massacres that the besieged Gaza strip and the rest of Palestine witness. They are also the ones that have inflicted in Iraq the deaths of over a million people without any remorse.
They have appointed themselves enemies to all resistance movements and peoples, becoming a hated despotic group around the globe from East Asia to western Latin America. Yet they wonder why the world hates them!
The slanders against Hizbullah by Bush and his administration are proof of the level of frustration the US hegemonic scheme has reached. It also illustrates the dangerous repercussion of its failures in confronting the resistance in the region on the US homeland in the form of crises and the economic, political, and strategic predicaments. It also explains the quick assaults and the political journalistic campaign on Hizbullah by Washington's tools in Lebanon and the region echoing Bush's campaign against the resistance and its symbols.
